Natural Frame was born out of a deeply personal experience for me, Valerie Perez, Founder and Owner of the brand. In 2022, while navigating my pregnancy journey, I came across an article that revealed an alarming amount of BPA in common athletic products, like sports bras from brands like The North Face and Brooks. BPA, a well-known hormone-disrupting chemical, can mimic estrogen in our bodies and cause a range of health issues, from disrupting metabolism and development to impacting reproduction. Even more concerning, BPA can be absorbed through the skin, especially when it's in products made of polyester and spandex.

When I read that even low levels of exposure, particularly during pregnancy, could lead to health problems for my baby, including a higher risk of breast and ovarian cancer later in life, it hit me hard. That moment led me to reevaluate everything in my environment, and while I swapped many items for healthier alternatives, I was still left searching for one thing: a nontoxic, plastic-free nursing bra. I couldn’t find one that met the standards I needed, so I decided to create it myself.

That’s how Natural Frame came to life. My mission is simple: to provide safe, 100% organic cotton nursing bras for all mothers and soon-to-be mothers. I wanted to create a product that not only supports women in their most important role but also supports the planet. Natural Frame is my commitment to offering a healthier, eco-conscious option that empowers women and mothers to feel confident, comfortable, and safe.
